Week Of Reflection: Day 5

When we first went into lockdown a year ago, many of the young people were extremely scared and didn't understand what was going on. People with learning disabilities find change a lot harder than most people, it was very important that halow could adjust as quickly and smoothly as possible. We learnt a great deal from the first lockdown and from that point we were able to make sure we were supporting the young people as much as possible so they would not become distressed or anxious.

Oliver had quite a difficult time adjusting to the changes happening around him at first. However, throughout the year, with the right support from halow, he was able to relax into this new way of living. Oliver and his mum, Georgie have very kindly made this lovely video to tell everyone how Oliver has been doing over the past year and how much halow has helped him.
