Get Support From the Halow Project

halow helps people with learning disabilities and autism to improve their lives and futures

We provide support from just a couple of hours a week, up to 24 hours a day. Our projects and activities take place in Guildford, Woking and across Surrey. Some of our support can also be accessed online.

The levels of support are tailored to suit individual needs. Some people receive long-term, intensive support by living in one of our supported living houses. Others attend a social activity from time to time.

We are proud of the quality of our projects and activities. Our young adults and families help plan, design, deliver and evaluate our work. Their input shapes all our services, and this is one of the reasons why our work is so successful.

Social Activities

The Social Activities programme provides fun, social and safe activities which are designed to give our young people the chance to enjoy an active social life, make new friends, and become part of their community.

There is a range of activities offered monthly and new members are always welcome to join. Activities include youth clubs, bowling nights, discos, local theatre shows, and meals out, as well as more seasonal trips like theme park outings, outdoor sports, and even llama treks! We also watch local sports matches (e.g. ice hockey, football, basketball). The list of opportunities for socialising is endless!

The dedicated Social Activities team are all fully trained, DBS checked and supported by 1:1 halow support workers or volunteers where necessary so the young people can relax and enjoy themselves.
