halow welcomes 2boats as an Ambassador partner

halow is delighted to announce that 2Boats Events has joined the halow Partner Programme as an Ambassador Partner, a special status recognising outstanding support over more many years.

The partnership began over ten years ago with the creation of the halow250, an ambitious annual charity cycle ride that became a cornerstone of halow’s fundraising calendar. Organised by 2Boats Events, over the course of a decade the challenge saw hundreds of riders cycle an incredible 250 miles from London to France and back to Guildford in just 48 hours.

Putney to Paris 2025

The 10th and final halow250 marked the end of an era, raising an incredible £170,000, and bringing the total raised through the halow250 to more than £1.3 million for halow.

In 2025, the legacy of the halow250 continued with the launch of the Putney to Paris Cycle, which replaced the original challenge and built on its strong foundations. The first Putney to Paris event was a huge success, with 34 riders raising over £30,000, demonstrating the continued passion and commitment of the cycling community to halow’s mission.

George Willis from 2Boats Events said:

2Boats Events Limited is proud to support halow as a charity partner, reflecting our long-standing commitment to creating positive social impact through the events we deliver. Originating from the organisation of the halow250, 2Boats Events has grown into an experienced event management company delivering cycling, sailing and adventure events across the UK and Europe, while maintaining strong charitable roots.
By partnering with halow, we aim to use our expertise, networks and events platform to raise awareness and vital funds. Together, this partnership demonstrates our belief that well-run events can be a powerful force for inclusion, opportunity, and lasting community impact.

2Boats created an incredible foundation of long-term support from the cycling community. With this partnership, we hope to honour the legacy of halow's community. Every pedal represented a step towards agency, independence, and a brighter future for the adults halow supports.
