Love halow 2023

Each year in February we celebrate ‘Love halow’ month. This is an opportunity to share the fantastic achievements of our young people and encourage our community to share their support for our charity.

During ‘Love halow’ month, the people we support, staff, volunteers, and local supporters shared what they love about halow.

“It is fun, best time ever.” Robbie

“I love halow for helping me when I needed support.” Amy

halow has helped me to make new friends, cooking by myself, and going and exploring new places.” Joe

halow helped me getting a full time job.” Euan

“I love halow because I make friends.” Atessa

halow invited the local community to share in the celebration by holding bucket collections at Tesco’s and The Friary in Guildford. Thank you to both for welcoming us and showing your support. Thanks to the generosity of their shoppers, halow raised £228.92 at Tesco and £170.58 at The Friary.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to Elliot's Cafe for donating £60 from sales of their delicious hot chocolate and Samanya Yoga who donated £275 from bookings of their rewarding yoga classes.

In total, from the support of our local community and businesses, along with our first ever ‘text to donate’ campaign, we raised £760 over ‘Love halow’ month! Thank you everyone who got involved and shared your love for halow!
