Learning Disability Week: Sarah

There is so much creativity in the young people we support, many identify as artists and want to turn their talents into a meaningful vocation. However, unemployment rates for adults with learning disabilities has increased by 35% since 2011 (Surreycc.gov.uk) Surrey County Council. We are proud at the halow project that we have wonderful partners such as Watts Gallery - Artists' Village who support Sarah to #volunteer on a regular basis and take on a freelance role between exhibitions.” Aisha - A Reason To Get Up Coordinator
