During the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19), & halow & has been working extremely hard to ensure we continue to deliver the best possible care to all of our young people that we support and keep as many of the services that we supply running. & We have been monitoring the situation very closely within the organisation and also keeping up to date with local and national government news, to make sure we are doing everything we can for the welfare of our staff and young people.

Unfortunately, with the recent guidance from the Government to shut down schools, colleges and nurseries, & halow’s Board of Trustees has made the very difficult decision to temporarily suspend a number of our services from Sunday 22 March 2020. & These include most of our Buddy Service sessions, and all Social Activities, Building Futures, and A Reason To Get Up sessions. & We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. & This decision was not taken lightly as we wanted to keep all services running as smoothly as possible; but for the safety and welfare of our staff and young people, and also the extended families, we must to do everything we can to minimise the spread of the virus and keep everyone safe. &

However, we are still providing some Buddy Services and all of our Supported Living services. & We have also started providing virtual activities and online sessions which are available on most days of the week so that all of our young people can still engage with & halow & staff and other friends. & We hope that this helps to keep our & halow & family ties strong until we can re-start all of our amazing services. &
