Guildford Town Guides - Charity of the Year!

We would like to say a big thank you to the Guildford Town Guides for choosing us as their Charity of the Year!

The award-winning Guildford Town Guides are knowledgeable volunteers who lead walks around the town and are passionate in the heritage of Guildford. The walks cover a wide variety of themes ensuring there is something for all age groups and tastes. These walks run from May to September each year starting at the Tunsgate on the High Street and can be booked in advance, and last approximately 90 minutes. Walks are free to the public but a donation to their annual chosen charity is always welcome - and from this May their chosen charity is halow!

They are already supporting halow by taking groups of our young people on some interesting history walks about the Tudors and World Wars, and now are kindly going to be encouraging the public to donate to halow after they've enjoyed a free tour around the beautiful historic town of Guildford.

In May, they plan to commemorate our Queen’s Jubilee, with a brand-new Royal
Guildford Walk. The Royal Guildford Walk free public walks are at 11am on Thursday 12, Saturday 21, and Saturday 28 May.

Find out more and book a walk.
