Damon Hill Karting 2025
Now in its 12th year, the Damon Hill Karting Challenge 2025 proved to be a roaring success, as motorsport legends and enthusiastic supporters came together for an unforgettable day of racing and fundraising at Daytona Sandown Park. The event raised an incredible £35,000 for the halow project, a Surrey-based charity that supports young people with learning disabilities and autism in living independent and fulfilling lives.
Clapham North MOT: Sponsoring Change
One of the standout supporters of this year’s festival was Clapham North MOT, who stepped up as a major sponsor to mark their 65th anniversary. Shutting their garage for the day, the South London-based business brought their entire team to the event, demonstrating their deep commitment to both motorsport and meaningful causes.
As part of their sponsorship, Clapham North MOT fielded a team in the Damon Hill Karting Challenge, featuring none other than George Grant alongside 1996 Formula 1 World Champion Damon Hill himself. The duo powered their way to a third-place finish, adding an exciting chapter to a long-standing racing friendship, Hill raced against George’s father in Formula Three.
A Day to be Remembered
Thanks to generous sponsorship from Childsey, halow’s young people were also able to hit the track themselves in their very own race, for the first time ever. Their joy and excitement reminded everyone exactly why this event matters so much.
