Since its first year in 1981, the London Marathon has become the most popular marathon in the world, attracting thousands of runners every year and raising millions of pounds for charity.

We have one charity place in the 2026 event, and we would love to hear from you - our applications are open!
To apply, please complete the application form with as much detail as possible.
The successful applicant will be asked to make a registration payment of £50.00, pledge to raise a minimum of £3,000 in sponsorship and agree to halow's terms and conditions. If you would like a copy of the terms and conditions before you make your application, please request a copy from: fundraising@halowproject.org.uk
Applications close at the end of August, and we will notify you of the outcome as soon as possible.
We highly recommend everyone apply for the London Marathon public ballot if they would like to run for us. If you are successful in the public ballot, you can still run for halow. There’s no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can. The public ballot for the 2026 TCS London Marathon will open in April 2025, with results expected in July 2025.
