Week Of Reflection: Day 7

Week Of Reflection: Day 7

What a wonderful week of reflection it has been! We are truly grateful to everyone who has continued to support us during these very challenging times, all our staff, volunteers and young people. well done everyone for surviving such a tough experience!
We are finishing the week off nicely with Nico from Building Futures year B’s progress over the last year.
“The last year has presented many challenges and changes for young people everywhere. Nico has persevered and done an excellent job at remaining in contact via zoom and other methods throughout the year. Even though Nico was accessing the programme through being at home it has always felt as if has been there with us remaining a key member of the Building Futures Year C group. Thankfully, Nico has now re-joined the group face to face and is as active as before. It hasn’t been easy, well done Nico!” Kirk, Our Building Futures Year Leader
Zoom sessions have helped me to see my Halow friends and communicate with them properly. I enjoyed the Can Do project. I liked decorating the care box with spring flowers and making the bath bombs. It was great to come back to face to face sessions at Building Futures two weeks ago.
“Over lockdown at home halow gave me activities to do e.g.making a boredom jar and doing arts and crafts. At home, I have learnt to bake bread with my Dad and also how to draw all by myself through YouTube.” Nico, halow young person
Well done Nico.
