Staff at Guildford High Street store, White Stuff, have been busy cycling 409 miles this week in their shop to raise funds for their chosen charity, the halow project.
The leading clothing Group organised a Run, Swim, Walk or Cycle fundraising initiative throughout its 27 stores in the south east for the week of 19th July. Cycling on an exercise bike, kindly loaned by Guildford’s Spectrum, members of staff have been taking it in turns to ride the 409 miles (the distance between its stores).
White Stuff Guildford Shop Manager, Kat Higgins said: “We have been supporting halow for three years now andcontinue to be so impressed with the work the charity does. We were really happy to run this event and hopefully will raise a lot of money and awareness for a brilliant cause.”
“We have a team of 11 people here and each one of us has really enjoyed taking part. Our customers have been really generous and interested in what we were doing and of course to learn more about halow.”
