We are pleased to announce today that customers and staff from a Sainsbury’s store in Guildford, have chosen the charity as its new beneficiary.

To mark the occasion, halow young people, staff and volunteers spent a day fundraising and promoting the charity’s work and services to customers at the busy Worplesdon Road, Guildford store.

On hand was halow’s mascot, Hector the bear, who met customers, posed for photos and handed out leaflets and stickers to those making donations to the charity which helps young people with a learning disability.

Store Manager, Paul Mullins commented: “ It was a brilliant start to our partnership with halow and a great turn out of support from well wishers. We all enjoyed the day inside and outside the store and attracted a lot of positive feedback from customers – Hector the halow bear in particularly was a big hit with the children!

“We hope this is the start of a longstanding relationship with halow and would like to wish everyone involved with the charity the very best for the future.”

We look forward to this partnership and would like to thank Sainsburys staff and customers for the enthusiasm, generosity and support!
