On the 6th April 2014 halow supporter and running fanatic Jason Kirkup ran the Brighton Marathon to raise money for us. After one of halow's runners was injured in training Jason had to fly the halow flag alone as he completed the mammoth task. He completed the 26.2 mile run in an impressive 5 hours 54 minutes.

There was a real community feel in the air as locals filled the streets and sea front to cheer on over 9000 runners. The spirit was hightened by a guest apprearence from former Marathon World Record Holder, Paula Radcliffe, who was the official starter.

People were supporting charities from up and down the country and we are extremely pleased that Jason was running for us. We want to wish him well done and a huge thank you for his hard work. Please support Jason and halow by donating whatever you can here and help him reach his £500 target: Support Jason

Jason works for Diamond Logistics, a countrywide courier service who has supported halow in the past.
