Former World Motor Racing Champion and halow Patron, Damon Hill OBE has joined the halow250. Damon, who is also one of halow's founders, will join 120 riders in cycling 250 miles over three days from London to Guildford via France. He is carrying out the last days of his training programme and making the final few arrangements ahead of our charity cycle.
The sold out ride, now in its fourth year, will leave from Roehampton in south west London for France on Friday 1st May 2015 at 09.00. We're are delighted to have Damon on board once again to lead and motivate the peleton and can't wait for the challenge to start.
Damon said, “Last year was a record breaking year for this ride but we can never be complacent and I am very pleased that new riders and new sponsors have come on board this year to help take this event from strength to strength. Everyone in this peleton has the same goal - to take on this extraordinary challenge and raise money for halow. Please show your support for our riders and make a donation to our halow250 campaign – every penny counts to give young people with a learning disability, chances we all take for granted.”
Money raised from the cycle will go towards funding our Social Activities work – helping young people make and keep friends, keep active and happy! Please help the young people we support, halow and all Damon's hardwork by clicking here: Sponsor Damon
