On Wednesday 23rd April the halow project set up their stall at a special Guildford Farmer's Market. The market was put on in honour of St George's Day and featured a variety of local organisations selling food and goods.
There was a real buzz in the air as we set up our stall and sold handmade crafts designed and created by halow's A Reason To Get Up programme & Building Futures Group. We also sold fresh rhubarb from our allotment and a number of plants including mint, sunflowers, & leeks. it was a wonderful day as young people and staff took it in turns to man the busy stall.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped out, the market traders and the council who made us feel so welcome on the day. It was wonderful to see Guildford's lively community come together and celebrate St George's Day.
halow raised over £50.00 on the day. For more information on the Guildford Farmer's Market click here.
