halow young people, supporters, staff and Trustees had an amazing time at this year's Annual Party. On Saturday 22nd March the Stoke & District Horticultural Society Club (The Aggie) was filled with over 150 members of the halow family. The band Return To Grace, covered hits from Adele to The Zutons, followed by the resident DJ. Together they had everyone hitting the dance floor. The party was an all-round success as people enjoyed a drink, a hearty hog roast and a raffle.
As the evening progressed halow Director, Yvonne, gave a heartfelt speech and thanks to supporters and young people. Members of halow's Peer to Peer programme presented their mentor and halow volunteer, Eileen, with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Rushmoor Borough Councillor, Sue Carter, showed her support for halow and presented young person, Claire, with a £50 voucher after winning a halow draw. The speeches concluded with the raffle being drawn.
It was a truly wonderful night and a great chance for people from all parts of halow to come together and celebrate the organisation. We can't wait for next year and hope even more of you can attend!
halow wants to say a huge thank you to all the young people, supporters, staff and the Aggie Club for making the night so special.
