With the football season well underway, halow is pleased to announce a new partnership with Guildford City Football Club.
We are delighted with the partnership which will provide more opportunities for our young people to connect with the community and enjoy social and sporting events, as well as raising awareness of the charity and the issues young people can face.
We are so excited and grateful to Guildford City FC for their upcoming support. Football is such a popular sport – so many of our young people follow it and especially Guildford City. We're looking forward to supporting the team and wish them every success for the season.
Club Secretary, Barry Underwood kindly told us, “As part of Guildford City FC’s ongoing commitment to the local community we are proud to announce that that we shall be working with Guildford based charity the halow project during the course of the next season and beyond. The work they do supporting young people with a learning disability is incredibly important and we are pleased to be working with them and helping them raise their profile.”
We were very pleased to be at the club's ground over the weekend where they showcased their new halow branded team strip. The club’s next home game is on Saturday 6th September against Chertsey Town when halow will be there in force to cheer on the team.
If you are one of halow's young people & would like to attend this FREE social activity please email firstname.lastname@example.org for tickets, it will be a great game.
