    Participate in a sporting challenge

    The halow250

    For those wanting more of a challenge, join the halow250 charity bike ride. It is a challenging and highly rewarding cycling adventure from London to Guildford via France, taking you 250 miles in 48 hours through Surrey, Hampshire and quiet roads in Northern France.  There is a registration fee plus a minimum sponsorship of £500 for this event.     Damon Hill Karting Challenge

    So you think you’d make a good racing driver? Challenge yourself against the likes of Damon Hill and a host of other professional racing drivers to compete at the Daytona Sandown Park circuit. Teams can comprise four or five drivers and there are opportunities to “buy” a celebrity, or to black flag your opponents, all for halow! Find out more at: Damon Hill's Karting Challenge


    The sky’s the limit – fundraising jumps take place throughout the year at sites across the country.  They are organised by professional event organisers, Skyline, who will give you all the training you need and importantly, leave you with a memory of a fantastic and exhilarating experience. In return for a minimum amount of sponsorship you could jump for free!

    Brighton Marathon

    Raise money for halow in this exciting event whilst challenging yourself to complete one of the toughest physical challenges around. This popular marathon is reasonably fast and flat, touring much of the city of Brighton and Hove, and taking in the glorious coastal views. Interested? Please get in touch with us.

    Great South Run

    For something a little less intense why not run the Great South Run for halow, which takes place on Sunday 21st of October 2018. A 10 mile course that takes in the iconic sites of the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard including Portsmouth Cathedral, Spinnaker Tower and the HMS Victory. Interested?     Great South Run Registration

    Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon

    On September 15th, there's a one-day challenge that will test your determination and stamina whilst supporting halow's vital work. This year’s circular walk starts and ends in Headley Heath. The 26-mile walk includes Polesdon Lacey, Ranmore Common, Wotton and Brockham and takes in five peaks including White Hill and Box Hill affording walkers spectacular views of the Surrey Hills. There is also an option of walking 13 miles or taking part in a five-mile family walk this year.
