Individual Involvement

  • Rebecca Shuttle skydive

You, your family and friends can make a real difference to the lives of the young people halow supports both now and in the future.  We have devised an exciting programme of activities and events for you to participate in whilst raising money for halow.

    • Skydives:

The sky’s the limit – fundraising jumps take place throughout the year at sites across the country.  They are organised by professional event organisers, Skyline, who will give you all the training you need and importantly, leave you with a memory of a fantastic and exhilarating experience. In return for a minimum amount of sponsorship you could jump for free!

Next Jump: Please contact the fundraising team on fundraising@halowproject.org.uk or 01483 447960 to receive an information pack or register here: Skyline Parachuting

    • The halow250:

For those wanting more of a challenge, join the halow250 charity bike ride. It is a challenging and highly rewarding cycling adventure from London to Guildford via France, taking you 250 miles in 48 hours through Surrey, Hampshire and quiet roads in Northern France.  There is a registration fee plus a minimum sponsorship of £500 for this event.

    • Brighton Marathon:

Raise money for halow in this exciting event whilst challenging yourself to complete one of the toughest physical challenges around. This popular marathon is reasonably fast and flat, touring much of the city of Brighton and Hove, and taking in the glorious coastal views. Interested? Please get in touch with us.

    • Great South Run:

For something a little less intense why not run the Great South Run for halow, which takes place on Sunday 22nd of October 2017. A 10 mile course that takes in the iconic sites of the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard including Portsmouth Cathedral, Spinnaker Tower and the HMS Victory. Interested? Book your own place now on the link below and let Hannah at the office know you are taking part.

    • Karting:

So you think you’d make a good racing driver? Challenge yourself against the likes of Damon Hill and a host of other professional racing drivers to compete at the Daytona Sandown Park circuit.  Teams can comprise four or five drivers and there are opportunities to “buy” a celebrity, or to black flag your opponents, all for charity!

    • If you are taking part in any of the above or any event across the country to raise funds for the halow project, be it a marathon, trek, ski-dive, bike ride or sponsored walk let us know so that we can offer you support.
